Allow us to introduce our spiritual friend Matheus/Johny Bineham. We first had the good fortune of discovering his YouTube videos a few years ago that shared the most important of concepts – Unconditional Love. Many of you will have heard some of his stories and insights in our classes and teacher training sessions. A Gnostic thinker and modern-day Cathar, philosopher, writer, artist, healer and dancer, Sydney-based Johny Bineham’s personal search for truth and meaning is an inspiration to all of us. When you have shared these tasty video morcels take the trouble to do your own research and come to your own conclusions. Then, by way of respectful appreciation, let him know that you have viewed his offerings and share some of your own.
Although we have never met him (in this life) or communicated directly with him, Matheus has become a spiritual friend of longstanding and we thought it about time you had the opportunity to make the same loving connection we have enjoyed.
“It was once suggested, that I had gone from being a ‘dog of war’ to being a ‘spiritual warrior’. A reasonable summing up in one sentence. But like everyone, my life is somewhat more complex. Art – drawing, painting, sculpture has always been an essential part of my life as has history; also, if according to Tacitus, ‘Philosophy is the love of wisdom’, then add philosophy to the list.
Though not religious, yet sincerely seek out the sacred and the spiritual; meaning, I am the one to decide and take responsibility for those beliefs acquired over my life’s journey. I will happily listen but do the deciding.
I have always had a camera so my life is documented. Please Google: Flickr AoxaingHigh
I enjoy listening to and telling stories. As others enjoy my stories so I decided to tell some on YouTube and blog, so others might enjoy. Please Google: YouTube deMontserver“
Prince Arthur’s Most Difficult Challenge (Apr 2, 2010)
Insights into some interesting and unusual aspects of love as well as the answer to what every woman truly wants!
Commenting upon the story, it is wrong to say we are born equal, for we are not. Some are taller, some are more beautiful, some are more smarter – this a fact – however what we are entitled to is equal respect, equality of respect. Sir Lancelot, in the YouTube story, gave equal respect to all including the old hag whom he married to save Arthur. As well in the story, Prince Arthur learnt ‘What every woman truly wants’?
‘The right to be herself, plus the support to be totally herself’ – that is, sovereignty. How often do men seek to truly understand the lady of his life and then encourage and support her to be the ‘best she can be’? Not too many, I would hazard a guess. No, usually we want our woman to be some idealised form of femininity rather than be loved for simply being herself. One secret to a successful relationship is to give ‘sovereignty’, be assured you will gladly receive it in return from a contented partner. To give sovereignty to your partner, is a powerful component of pure unconditional love.
Bye for now. Matheus
